[annodex-dev] problems with anxenc

Hi!

I am trying to use CMML in a university project, and having some
difficulties with getting anxenc to work.  I made a sample CMML file
with cmml-fortune, which (unsuprisingly) passes cmml validation, but
anxenc just wouldn't work with it:

| anxenc random.cmml
anxenc: Not ready: Not ready

I am using the latest annodex-tools Debian package. (I also tried
building the thing under Windows with Cygwin, but the situation is even
worse there. :) )
What am I doing wrong?
