Hi,
I'm looking for tips and usability suggestions for CMMLWiki. I just made
the demo site at:
http://demo.annodex.net/cmmlwiki/
publically writeable; feel free to edit it, I'll restore it next week
sometime (and then probably set it up as an ongoing demo to play with).
You'll need the AnnodexFirefoxExtension for the [Play] links, but the
rest of the site (editing etc.) should work in any current HTML browser
that supports javascript and related buzzwords.
If you have any suggestions for how to make such a site easier to
navigate, easier to edit, manage etc. then please say so (may as well
discuss here on this list). For example, Chris Ford made a suggestion
recently that clicking on images should activate playback because it
"felt natural", so now it does that. Conversely if you can't work out
what to do with the site, say so (there's not much help text at the
moment).
If you'd like to set up your own cmmlwiki, then follow the "Powered by
CMMLWiki" link at the bottom of that page; at this stage though be
prepared to install lots of modules from development trees ...
cheers,
Conrad.
